Ballarat Basketball Association

The Ballarat Basketball Association is one of the largest and most successful sporting Associations in Victoria . It offers a wide range of services and opportunities for the people of Ballarat and surrounding districts The local domestic competition sees over 2000 players competing in around 50 different competitions each week ranging from A Grade through to Social Grades for boys; girls; men; women and mixed teams. There are also Ladies Daytime competitions and Aussie Hoops development programs for beginners.

Basketball Ontario

Basketball Ontario is the sport governing body for basketball in the Province of Ontario. Created nearly 70 years ago as the Ontario Amateur Basketball Association, the organization is also known as Basketball Ontario.  Basketball Ontario is a not-for-profit association and was incorporated as such in 1977.

Basketball Ontario represents the Province of Ontario's amateur basketball interests. Basketball Ontario's membership is made up of athletes, coaches, officials, clubs, camps, local basketball organizations, groups, leagues and basketball supporters. As part of its mandate, Basketball Ontario is committed to working with the Toronto Raptors Basketball Club and the NBA Canada to further promote and develop amateur basketball in the province.

THE ASSOCIATION recognizes and effects an executive committee. A president, secretary, and treasurer are elected each year to serve a one year term or period.

THE ASSOCIATION was formed October 28, 1984, to organize, develop, and enhance wheelchair basketball for the physically disabled in London.
