Badminton Australia is the national sports organisation for badminton in Australia. Badminton Australia, in partnership with its Members, the State/Territory Badminton Associations, is responsible for the management and sustainable development of the sport nationally and the management of relations internationally through the governing body for the sport, the International Badminton Federation (IBF).
Established in 1932, Badminton Australia became the eleventh member of the IBF in 1936. Badminton Australia is an active member of the Oceania Badminton Confederation (OBC) and is affiliated to the Australian Olympic Committee, (AOC), Australian Commonwealth Games Association (ACGA) and the Confederation of Australian Sport. (CAS).

An important role of Badminton Canada is to provide support to its member associations in the pursuit of their respective objectives, where such support can be provided appropriately by a centrally-located National Office with a national and international focus. Badminton Canada provides leadership in matters of common interest to Canadian badminton organizations with the understanding that such leadership will, at all times, respect the rights and responsibilities of its Member Associations. In particular, Badminton Canada's support and leadership responsibilities exist in relation to coaching, officiating and recreational badminton, research and development, and marketing. Badminton Canada is the sole badminton organization authorized to deal with the Federal Government, the Canadian Olympic Committee and the International Badminton Federation.

We are a not-for profit organization whose primary purpose is to conduct and develop badminton throughout Queensland in partnership with its Member Assocations.
