The British Wheelchair Archery Association is a multifaceted organisation and assists with all aspects from grassroots information to elite level training.
The Association is the reference point for all wheelchair users, for those wishing to try archery , by putting them in touch with local clubs.
New archers are encouraged to join a local archery club to receive coaching and gain experience. Once the person has their own equipment they are encouraged to attend a archery training weekend at Stoke Mandeville.

The first General Assebly of the European and Mediterranean Archery Union was held in Paris, France, on April 17th 1988 on the initiative of the Mr.François de Massary, President of French Federation. During the meeting the first Constitution was approved by the delegates of 19 European Countries: Belgium, Cyprus, Czechoslovakia, Denmark, France, Great Britain, Germany, Greece, Israel, Italy, Luxembourg, Monaco, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Switzerland, The Netherlands, Turkey, Yugoslavia.
Its primary goal is to promote and encourage archery throughout Europe and Mediterranean.

The Fort Collins Archery Association is a group of people united by an interest in archery. Our membership includes both active bowhunters and target archers who have never hunted. We maintain for the public the Fort Collins outdoor archery range on land owned by the City of Fort Collins Parks and Recreation Department. We also work with local organizations and businesses to provide support for youth archery programs, sponsor benefit shoots and host competitions. This web site is the clearing house for all things related to archery in the Fort Collins area!

The Grand National Archery Society is the governing body for the sport of archery in Great Britain and Northern Ireland. The Society serves nine Regional Societies.
Archery has over a hundred member nations throughout the world which are represented by the Fédération Internationale de Tir à l'Arc (F.I.T.A) which is the international governing body for the sport.

FITA is the world body for archery recognized by the International Olympic Committee. FITA sets Laws and Bylaws particularly for competitions for target archery, field archery, ski archery, run archery, flight archery and clout archery. FITA consists of Member Associations, one in each country, that are the governing bodies of archery in each country. Groups of Member Associations form Continental Associations (Africa, the Americas, Asia, Europe and Oceania). FITA is governed and managed by FITA Congress, FITA Council and FITA Committees. The day to day operations of FITA are carried out by the FITA Office located in Lausanne, Switzerland.
FITA serves to promote and regulate archery world-wide through its more than 140 Member Associations (National Federations or Associations) and in conformity with the Olympic principles. It aims at framing and interpreting the FITA Rules and arranging for the organization of World Championships and other international competitions. FITA promotes archery through the media and the sponsors.
Archery has been part of the Olympic movement since 1900 and has been permanently present in the Olympic Games since 1972. FITA has held World Championships since 1931 and has progressively turned to 8 disciplines since 1991. In 2006 we have launched an Archery World Cup circuit.

The National Field Archery Association is a non-profit corporation dedicated to the practice of archery. The NFAA was founded in 1939, and now consists of fifty chartered state associations and more than 1,100 affiliated clubs. The NFAA is a member of the International Field Archery Association and a national allied organization of the National Archery Association (NAA).
The NFAA is dedicated to the conservation and preservation of game and its natural habitat. The organiation is very active in cooperating with federal and state agencies and sportsmen and conservation organizations. It is resolved to foster, perpetuate and preserve "the use of the bow in accordance with its ancient and honorable traditions." The NFAA incorporates numerous styles of archery, including Freestyle, Freestyle Limited, Barebow, Bowhunter (Competitive, Freestyle, Freestyle Limited), Traditional. Cub, Youth, Young Adult, Adult, Senior, and Professional are the NFAA divisions of competition.

Texas Field Archery Association

We like to refer to the TFAA as a shooting organization. We sponsor Indoor 300 Rounds, Outdoor Field Rounds, American Rounds, and 3-D Rounds. I am sure if you check us out you will enjoy our tournaments. If you do we would love to have you as a member. We offer both a Bowhunting Membership and a full Membership that makes you eligible to shoot all Texas Field Archery Associations tournaments as well as all National Field Archery Association tournaments.
