Carl Fredrik Hill (31 May 1849 - 22 February 1911) was a Swedish painter. He painted mostly landscapes. He spent some years in a mental hospital. Despair and darkness is seen in his paintings, such as the painting with the graveyard. He had three sisters and was very shy.
