L. Brent Bozell III is the founder and president of the Media Research Center, the Parents Television Council, the Conservative Communications Center and the Cybercast News Service. He is the nephew of conservative writer and National Review founder William F. Buckley. His father was Buckley associate and conservative activist L. Brent Bozell Jr..

His articles have appeared in The Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, Washington Times, New York Post, Los Angeles Times and National Review. He is a regular on television, including the Fox News program "Hannity & Colmes." In 2004, his book Weapons of Mass Distortion was published by Crown Forum.

Before founding the MRC in 1987, Bozell ran the National Conservative Foundation project at the National Conservative Political Action Committee (NCPAC). Mr. Bozell received his B.A. in history from the University of Dallas, where he was named the 1998 Alumnus of the Year. He is married with five children, David, L. Brent IV, Joseph, Caitlin, and Reid. He lives in Alexandria, Virginia.
