| Exercise Type:
Anaerobic Exercise (strength training)
Primary Muscles Exercised:
medial deltoids
Description:
1) stand straight up with a slight bend in your knees and feet shoulder length apart
2) grasp the dumbbells with each hand with a overhand grip (palms facing your body)
3) keep a slight bend in your arms at all time and keep your back straight
4) hold the dumbbells next to one another in front of your body
Techinque:
1) raise dumbbells on both sides of your body in an arc like fashion until both arms are parallel with the ground, hold for a few seconds
2) return dumbbells to its original position using an arc like motion, be sure not to lock your elbows
3) repeat until you have completed your desired number of repetitions
