Standing Front Dumbbell Raises

Exercise Type:

Anaerobic Exercise (strength training)

Primary Muscles Exercised:

anterior deltoids

Description:

1) stand with your back straight and feet shoulder length apart with a slight bend at the knees
2) grab the dumbbells ahead of you and hold them at your hip with palms facing your body

Techinque:

1) raise dumbbells directly upwards until both your arms are fully extended (do not lock your elbows) and hold for a few seconds
2) return dumbbells to its original position
3) repeat until you have completed your desired number of repetitions
