Standing Biceps Extension

Exercise Type:

Anaerobic Exercise (strength training)

Primary Muscles Exercised:

biceps brachii
brachialis

Description:

1) place feet shoulder width apart
2) grasp the barbell with an overhanded grip (palms facing your body), shoulder width apart
3) your arms should be pressed against your upper thigh with arms fully extended but to not lock your elbows

Techinque:

1) by flexing at the elbows, extend the weight up towards your shoulders
2) hold for a few seconds then return to the original position
3) repeat until you have completed your desired number of repetitions
