Anaerobic Exercise (strength training)
Primary Muscles Exercised:
anterior deltoids
Description:
1) sit on a bench with your back firmly placed on the back rest and with your feet comfortably extended to keep your body stable
2) grasp the barbell slightly more then shoulder length apart with palms facing outward (away from your body)
3) the barbell should be just above your chest but below your head
Techinque:
1) raise barbell directly upwards until both your arms are fully extended (do not lock your elbows) and hold for a few seconds
2) return barbell to its original position
3) repeat until you have completed your desired number of repetitions
