Exercise Type:

Anaerobic Exercise (strength training)

Primary Muscles Exercised:

posterior deltoids
upper trapezius

Description:

1) seat on the bench with your back firmly against the backrest, extend your feet so they are comfortably supporting your body
2) grasp the barbell behind your neck wider then shoulder width apart
3) raise the barbell until it is above your head with your arms fully extended while keeping a slight bend at the elbows

Techinque:

1) slowly lower the barbell behind your neck
2) return barbell to its original position
3) repeat until you have completed your desired number of repetitions
