Preacher Curls

Exercise Type:

Anaerobic Exercise (strength training)

Primary Muscles Exercised:

biceps brachii
brachialis

Description:

1) sit on the preacher curl bench with your arms extended over the arm pad
2) grasp the barbell with an underhanded grip (palms facing up) with your hands about shoulder width apart

Techinque:

1) while keeping your triceps resting on the pad, curl the barbell upwards towards your shoulders
2) hold for a few seconds then return to the original position
3) repeat until you have completed your desired number of repetitions
