Donkey Calf Raises (with partner)

Exercise Type:

Anaerobic Exercise (strength training)

Primary Muscles Exercised:

gastrocnemius
soleus

Description:

1) put your toes at the edge of a board (should be no more then 2-3 inches in height)
2) bend forward until your back is parallel with the floor with your hips, stabilize yourself by holding onto something sturdy
3) allow your partner to climb on your lower back, straddling your hips

Techinque:

1) raise your body using only the balls of your feet to push up
2) once your at your peak height, slowly go back into yor original position
3) repeat exercise for the desired amount of repetitions
