| Exercise Type:
Anaerobic Exercise (strength training)
Primary Muscles Exercised:
all tricep heads
anterior deltoids
pectoralis major (mid and lower chest)
Description:
1) lie flat on a bench using your feet to securely anchor yourself
2) grasp the barbell with hands about 5 inches apart from one another
3) the barbell should be one or two inches from your chest while it is on the standards
Techinque:
1) slowly raise the barbell until both arms are fully extended without locking your elbows
2) hold for a few seconds then return to the original position
3) repeat until you have completed your desired number of repetitions
